Hi guys, Im trying to be more active on here so I figured I would post a status update on a few things i have in the works.

COMPLETE REVAMP OF STAR TREK GRAVITY FALLS

I wanna get back into doing STGF but im not happy with how i have the story set up. Some things will remain the same ie. People, Ship designs abd names some events, but most things will change.

STAR TREK CASTAWAYS

What I have planned for Castaways involves cranking out a redesign for the Crossfield class for the DSC, TOS, and TMP eras, while keeping about 75% of her silhouette the same. After that is done I will begin working on the Terran version of those ships as well as the Terran Uniforms. As for the Constitution Class me and :iconspidertrekfan616: have been discussing this and we have designs hammered out for them from the time they were launched all the way to when NCC-1701 is retired at the end of Star Trek III: Homebound and replaced with Enterprise A. Those should be posted later on today along side a chart displaying the evolution of the Enterprise from when she was first launched under Captain April until she is finally retired.

That pretty much covers everything I wanna talking about.

It’s that time of year again. This year’s Titanic Week somewhat different. Instead of a week dedicated to the liner and her victims, I will be taking the entire month for the event. Titanic Month will be kicked off on April 1st, The day the ships sea trials were supposed to take place and incidentally the day of the White Star Line’s first major tragedy, the Sinking of the SS Atlantic.

Status of Titanic: Underwater
Estimated Time of Arrival: Never
Next Port of Call: Nowhere

Status of Carpathia: Docked at Pier 54, New York City, New York, USA
Estimated Time of Arrival: Arrived
Destination: Arrived

Week 1:
April 1 1873: SS Atlantic Sinks. 1912:Titanic’s Sea Trials Cancelled due to high winds.
April 2: Titanic undergoes her trials, which last around 6 hours, after which she is certified for use by the board of trade, all nonessential personnel are disembarked and Titanic leaves Belfast, Ireland, her home for the previous 4 years of her construction, never to return. Her destination: Southampton, England.
April 3: Titanic arrives in Southampton, England and preparations are made for her maiden voyage 1 week later.
April 4-9: Titanic sits docked awaiting supplies and final crew members as passenger luggage and cargo bound for America is loaded into her cargo holds.
Week 2:
April 10: Titanic is ready to depart Southampton. Passengers start arriving at around 10am and begin boarding. Titanic departs Southampton for the only time at noon, arriving in Cherbourg, France 6 1/2 hours later where the tenders Nomadic and Traffic bring passengers to the ship, as Titanic, like her sisters Olympic and the, then incomplete, Britannic (there is an ongoing debate on whether or not she was originally going to be called Gigantic prior to Titanic’s sinking), is too large to fit into the harbor. Titanic departs 2 hours later.
April 11: Titanic makes her final stop at Queenstown Ireland, before heading out to the Atlantic Ocean and to her demise.
April 12
April 13
April 14

Week 3:
April 15
April 16
April 17
April 18
April 19

Sorry about not uploading a journal for Day three of Titanic Week yesterday we got slammed at work and had to stay later than normal.

Anyway, Both today and yesterday are uneventful on the Titanic’s fateful voyage, so ill just give some random notes about some conspiracies surrounding the Liner.

The most well known theory is that Titanic and Olympic were switched after Olympic threw a propellor blade and had to return to Harland and Wolff shipyards to receive one of Titanic’s blades.

The theory while interesting is complete and utter nonsense. One part of it states that after Olympic collided with HMS Hawke, it warped her keel slightly and that she would have a permanent 2 degree list to starboard. This part was true however it goes further and says that Titanic had a 2 degree list to starboard. This is only slightly true as Titanic did indeed have a 2 degree list. However it was to port rather than starboard. This was caused by the crews efforts to put out a coal fire that started in Belfast. The standard course of action was to move all the unburned coal into the adjoining bunker and shovel all the burning coal into the boilers.

Another thing the theory states is that one of the dives made examined the ships Nameplate and it read T I T M P I C rather than T I T A N I C. This evidence was later debunked as being faked.

So on the whole the theory is bogus and far fetched, but offers a great insight to what could have happened

So today is the second day of Titanic Week.

106 years ago today the Titanic made her last port of call at Queenstown, Ireland. This is where Father Francis Browne disembarked. Father Browne is the man responsible for the few pictures that exist of Titanic’s Interior.

The bulkhead in the first class dining room was different to the Olympic’s. The Olympic had five smaller windows compared to the Titanic and Britannic which had three large bay windows.

The Titanic also featured an enlarged A La Carte restaurant as well as a Cafè Parisien. The Olympic did not have these features when she first set sail.

On Olympic the C Deck landing on the Grand Staircase had an open Cloak room. This were replaced with first class cabins on Titanic.
